Cook For Kids - School Hours- Richmond

Are you an experienced Educator with great cooking skills?

Are you an experienced Cook with exposure to or interest in cooking for little kids?

Available position

• 25 hours per week - flexible
• 9.00 am to 2.30 pm with 30 minute break - flexible
• Circa $27 per hour subject to experience and qualifications
• Cooking for 30 children per day including commercial baby food for up to 10 infants
• Hot lunch plus morning & afternoon snacks
• Well appointed kitchen with new equipment
• Friendly and supportive hands-on centre manager - everyone loves to work with them!

• Permanent position
• You will need a Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate (online training) before starting or within the first month of employment
• You will be asked to undertake an Australian Police Records check - we will pay for the check

What you will be doing

• Delivering healthy menus reflecting cultural and individual needs of children
• Supporting health and wellbeing of children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
• Ordering food supplies in consultation with Centre Director
• Safe food handling compliant with Food Safety Plan
• Maintenance of the kitchen to accreditation standards
