Our Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services team is seeking Cook to join the team located in Mount Eliza, Victoria. This role will provide meals to patients & staff whilst delivering exceptional service to our client within a health care setting.
Your key duties will include:
- Meal Preparation for Patients & Staff
- Serving meals to our patient clientele
- Maintaining dining and kitchen areas
- Keeping the staff rooms and doctors' rooms well presented & stocked
- Maintain general HACCP outcomes.
- Use of technology to take guest food orders, Dietary & HACCP records
- Ensuring such items meets and exceeds the expectation of each guest
- Ensuring immaculate presentation of Food Service
- Quality Improvement
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills:
- A positive, 'can do' attitude
- Be reliable, punctual & flexible
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Previous catering experience (healthcare environment highly regarded)
- FSH Certificate (Required prior to commencement)
- 3 years plus experience in dining service
- An ability to demonstrate sound knowledge for meal preparation
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Impeccable presentation and grooming
- Knowledge of OH&S & hygiene
- Certificate 2 Commercial Cookery
- Your own transportation is essential - parking available.
