About the role:As the Coordinator Talent and Onboarding, based in Bundall – Gold Coast, you will be responsible for leading a team of recruitment professionals who are responsible for the engagement activities with key stakeholders across a multi-disciplinary organisation to enable modern recruitment practices.The position will report to the Manager People and Culture Delivery.We’re looking for people who have:Collaborative leadership and people management skills and proven experience in motivating staff members and senior leadership groups to achieve organisational objectives.Significant experience in contemporary recruitment practices in a large and complex organisation.Driven leadership skills and experience in modern recruitment practices and can lead a large team of recruitment professionals who manage recruitment activities in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.To be successful in this position, you must be:a natural leader; you are experienced in leading a team and passionate about creating a positive and supportive working environment; you use your strong leadership skills to monitor, mentor and empower the team.a strong and confident communicator; you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including building working relationships, collaborating and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.innovative and self-motivated; you are a person who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail which looks for improvement opportunities and drives change within a timely manner.an outstanding role model; you lead by example as a strong communicator, displaying personal behaviours in line with the City's values and taking accountability for the team's performance.What you’ll be responsible for:You will join a collaborative team that work hard to successfully attract talent to the organisation through modern recruitment practices.You will lead a team who partner with hiring managers to provide a value-add end-to-end recruitment service across a broad portfolio of positions. The focus of this role will be to further develop, coach and mentor the Team Leaders to deliver the required outcomes for the business and meet industry recruitment standards.You will be required to collaborate with other Chief People Office senior leaders to deliver on objectives and targets for the branch and organisation.You will be required to establish and manage strong relationships with internal and external partners.You will be required to stay in touch with industry trends, best practices, and implement innovative recruitment strategies and develop the team to meet these trends and standards.Be part of shaping the Gold Coast’s futureThe Gold Coast is inspired by lifestyle and driven by opportunity.
