ROLE
Are you a natural relationship builder looking to develop your account management skills to help save children’s lives? As Australia’s first paediatric research facility, CMRI is one of the world’s most highly regarded independent Medical Research centres, supported by state-of-the-art facilities, and committed research and support staff.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this newly created role offers you the chance to further develop and drive their corporate fundraising strategy and make a real impact on the organisation. Building on previous success, you will play a vital role in driving growth, engagement, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities predominantly on the Jeans for Genes campaign along with other initiatives within the organisation.
The role would suit a professional natural relationship builder with demonstrated passion for children’s Medical Research. You will be driven to achieve KPI’s, focussing on retention, growth of existing and acquisition of new partners/sponsors relating to Jeans for Genes and other key campaigns/initiatives including workplace giving.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure successful implementation of the Corporate Strategic Plan with their team.
Ensure funding, acquisition and growth targets achieved across corporate portfolio.
Build and retain relationships with corporate partners.
Participate in external networking events and deliver presentations.
Research existing and new partnerships opportunities
Promote workplace giving program.
Collaborate with Jeans for Genes campaign, providing support and innovate stewardship plans.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Work with internal stakeholders and teams to ensure effective completion of analysis and reporting is conducted on campaign performance.
Represent the organisation internally and externally.
YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Demonstrated ability in relationship management (with a preference in fundraising desirable but not essential)
Enthusiastic, energetic, with a genuine passion for finding cures for children with genetic diseases and cancer
Confident in public speaking with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Salesforce and Funraisin desirable but not essential
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, predominantly Excel and Powerpoint
Positive can-do attitude with strong work ethic and ability to operate well in a collaborative supportive environment.
