This is not a regular receptionist role; this role will give you an opportunity to contribute your amazing customer service skills to create a safe and welcoming office environment. This is a Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm position based at our Melbourne Head office on Collin Street.
About the role
In this role you will provide a professional “face” for the Head Office and communicate with Stakeholders in a professional manner, ensuring clear paths of communication are maintained as first point of contact for the company. You will be an ambassador for Stockland by building good relations internally and externally. Supporting the Office Manager and Office Assistant you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Action incoming calls in a timely manner, qualifying the callers needs and directing calls to the relevant team members or taking a message
- Assisting staff with meeting room bookings, facilities management and general enquiries
- Assist with the organisation and set up/pack down of office and staff events and initiatives
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
- Maintaining stocks of office supplies including stationery, medical and groceries
- Kitchen Management, tiding, stock levels, dishwashers
- Experience in a Corporate hospitality, customer service role with a strong focus on customer service and experience.
- You will have a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Outlook and MS Teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- You will bring your high energy, proactive nature, and ability to learn & adapt quickly
- You will also bring your ability to work with high attention to detail & pro-active approach
