Course Superintendent

Bexley Golf club is seeking a Course Superintendent – who has the skills and experience to assist the Club to achieve its Vision and strategic plan. 

Applicants must have appropriate industry qualifications and understand what is required to present a high-quality golf course and can deliver an exceptional playing experience.

The Course Superintendent should be highly driven and possess exceptional leadership skills and be able to motivate a positive culture and team.

The successful candidate will report to the Bexley Golf Club General Manager.

Bexley Golf Club was Founded in 1939, the club is located 15 minutes from Sydney’s CBD and 10 minutes from Kingsford Smith airport. The club boasts a strong membership base combined with busy green fee visitors.

We will deliver a superior golfing, Member & Social experience so that members and visitors’ recognise Bexley Golf Club as a club of choice in the area.

• Work with the Management to help promote Member satisfaction through maintaining and presenting a high-quality golf course and surrounds.
• Management responsibility for the maintenance team including, training, development and leadership.
• Ability to schedule and supervise work to achieve the most efficient utilisation of employees and equipment.
• Management responsibility for the Course Budget.
• Development and Implementation of SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) including course standards, Course Enhancement Plan, EMP (Environmental Management Plan) and Annual Maintenance Plan.
• Assist Management to implement the Club’s strategic plan.
• Thoroughly assist in all OH&S training needs and procedures.
• Record keeping for supplies, daily logs, application records, weather condition recording, and personnel records.
• Maintain and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Produce timely communication to keep key stakeholders updated and well informed.
• Continue personal and professional educational through attending self-development, training, and conferences.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, and holidays as determined to be necessary in consultation with the General Manager. 
• Accept feedback from key and use this information to optimise the day-to-day presentation of the golf course.

Salary is open and commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience. The Club will offer an excellent salary package $100k -$110k to the right candidate.
