About the Role?
As a Credit Officer, you will be responsible for reconciliation and collection of overdue monies on all accounts within the Hertz ledger for delegated accounts, ensuring all mechanisms are in place to enable efficient and effective control of the debtor’s ledger.
In this role you will;
- Collection of outstanding balance of corporate clients via telephone/email and ensuring that payment is received within set payment trading terms
- Recording and maintaining collection history notes and actions
- Work with the Key Account Co-Ordinator around any matters pertaining to any account which effects processing and/or collection of any account during collection activity inclusive of monthly reconciliations.
- Assistance with issuing of in- house statements as well as system generated statements
- Assist with the allocation of funds received by banking on a daily basis
- Assist with the actioning and processing all credit/debit adjustments to customer accounts timely
- Detailed weekly and/or monthly reporting on all overdue accounts
- Administration duties as required within the requirements of the credit department
- Assisting the Credit Team with Ad Hoc functions, requests and projects – refunds, Debit Notes, Credit Adjustment Notes
- Work within a team environment and able to assist department when other team members on annual leave
About You?
To be successful in this position, our newest team member will have the following:
- Credit or admin related courses (desired)
- Minimum 2-3 years previous credit admin officer/administrative officer - non industry specific
- Account reconciliations
- Excel/Word Intermediate to advanced
- High communication skills
- Proven record in performing in a fast-paced role
- Understanding of Privacy ACT/Legal framework
- Team player with excellent attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
