Reporting to the Conference and Events Manager and Restaurant Manager, this position is responsible for exceeding customer satisfaction through the coordination and execution of events that can vary from weddings to corporate meetings, celebrations, and retreats - the list is endless ....
You will be motivated to ensure the very best of guest experience by being the point of contact as the conferencing and events schedule is delivered and will work effectively within the Hotel.
Some heavy lifting will be required during set up and pack down of events. The position is varied and highly visible, hands on and extremely rewarding and because of this, the role will be of interest to those energised by our personality, environment and values.
This is a permanent part-time role with varying hours depending on the conferences in-house. You must be able to work weekends and evenings.
Your talents
To be successful in this role, we welcome interest from individuals with some relevant experience in events management or conference coordination.
With strong planning, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, you will be naturally organised and work effectively in an environment of collaborative success.
