Salary Range is $95,000 - $110,000 plus 11.5% super

What You Will Be Working On:
As the Customer Experience Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of driving exceptional service delivery and community engagement within our recreation centre. Your role will involve:
- Leading and inspiring a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service, monitor daily operations and service delivery across multiple portfolios including Customer Service, Sales and Memberships, Bookings and Administration.
- Overseeing daily operations and service delivery to ensure optimal performance in a range of centre business support operations from administration, financial and customer engagement
- Developing and managing innovative Customer Experience, Promotions, Sales and Memberships programs to meet the diverse needs of our community that align with the City’s Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan.
- Contract lead for Leisure Management Software (Envibe),and research new software and technologies for future centre needs.
- Creating a collaborative and accountable work environment, fostering team innovation, and empowering team members to take considered risks. Addressing and resolving escalated customer matters, ensuring efficient coordination and delivery of service outcomes.
About You:
You are a dynamic, passionate, and motivated leader and you will play a pivotal role as part of AFAC’s senior leadership team. We are looking for the right personality to drive continuous improvement, research, and implement Customer Experience initiatives to enhance the service delivery and operational excellence on offer.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Tertiary qualification in business, leisure, recreation, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in staff supervision and overseeing various functions within a recreation centre.
- Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing membership, customer service, financial, and administration processes.
- Strong time management, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance.
- Budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Leisure Management Software.
- Current C Class Driver's License and Senior First Aid Certificate.
Desirable attributes include previous experience or understanding of Local Government fitness and aquatic facilities and skills in contract management, tendering, and negotiation skills, particularly in Leisure Management Software.
