CUSTOMER SERVICE - SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Brix Projects are currently seeking candidates for a Sales Representative with a strong Customer Service focus reporting to the Sales Team Leader for an immediate start date.
Position Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing and converting sales opportunities to accelerate the growth of the Education & Skills Development Department.
The incumbent will find new business opportunities within existing markets and customers as well as tapping into new markets and new customers to increase revenue, meet sales targets and expand market share.
The role will also be responsible for promoting, developing and leveraging MBA’s brand through the delivery of quality training and education programs.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets
- Generate inbound and outbound leads
- Qualify, develop and convert inbound and outbound leads
- Implement sales strategies
- Progress leads through the sales pipeline
- In collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Manager and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, develop targeting campaigns to generate inbound leads and drive sales
- Tap into new and existing markets and customers to increase sales
- Prepare sales presentations and business proposals
- Build long-term trusting relationships with existing and potential customers
- Consistently demonstrate Customer Service excellence
- Provide continuing after-sales Customer Service support
- Maintain data on prospects, leads, and progression through the sales pipeline in the CRM
- Provide monthly reporting on all sales activities and achievements to the Sales & Marketing Manager
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested to the Sales & Marketing Manager
- Attend member division meetings and events, careers expos, trade events and act as an Ambassador for Master Builders
- Any other duties as requested by the Sales & Marketing Manager
Key Skills / Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Proven experience in generating and developing leads
- Proven experience in closing deals and meeting sales targets
- Ability to build rapport and engage with a diverse customer base
- Strong verbal and written communication at all levels
- Proactive and self-driven
- Results and outcomes focused
- Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and in a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Exceptional Customer service delivery
- High energy and motivation levels
- Ability to manage competing demands
