Our Client in Emerald, QLD, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Administration/Housing Officer to join their team. This role offers an immediate start for the right individual and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in social housing and housing assistance.
The successful applicant will be employed by IPA on a labour hire basis for the duration of the assignment. The role will be full time hours, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our social housing and housing assistance team, you will:
- Conduct intake and assessments, evaluating applications against specified eligibility criteria.
- Handle general administrative duties with efficiency and precision.
- Manage tenancy by maintaining a waitlist register for all allocations and vacancies.
- Conduct annual property inspections to ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate property management tasks, including raising work orders for property upgrades.
Requirements
- Previous administration experience is essential.
- Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft products.
- Housing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Social service experience working with vulnerable individuals is highly valued.
- Flexibility and a strong willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Driver Licence.
A pre-employment criminal history check will also be completed prior to start.
Job specific training will also be provided to ensure you have the skills needed to excel in your role and contribute to the team's success.
