Based at our Eat Street Northshore location (Hamilton 4007), we are accepting applications from people seeking a casual junior Customer Service role. You will be taking & fulfilling customer orders in a busy, dynamic and somewhat quirky festival like environment.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The Junior Customer Service role offers casual hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 4pm - 10.30pm each day. Additional hours are available for the right candidate. Allowances can be made for a school / study timetable.
Duties include taking customer orders, guiding customers through our menus, and light food preparation i.e. saucing ice cream, blending shakes, boxing doughnuts.
This is a junior position, with full training provided to (preferably) school aged candidates.
We serve 1000's of customers each week, often within concentrated peak trading periods. We aim to employ team members who are eager to join us in the fast paced environment of a consistently busy gourmet food business. Candidates with experience in fast food or retail (whilst not essential) will be highly regarded.
We are proud to hold a 5 Star Food Safety Rating - it is therefor essential that each & every member of our team is clean, tidy & organised in the way they work and also that they are prepared to perform 'deep cleaning' of all food preparation & service areas on a very regular basis.
