About the role
A global leader in light to medium duty conveyors, modular belting, power transmission belts & associated products, are looking for a customer service officer join their successful team, Based in Dandenong South. Hours are 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Duties and responsibilities
- Answer and address phone calls and emails from both internal and external customers
- Data entry and Administration
- Ensure effective time management is undertaken to complete all daily tasks.
- Providing quotes and technical information to customers.
- Liaison with internal branches.
- Processing internal branch stock transfers.
- Maintaining and monitoring customer back orders.
- Processing of stock returns/credit requests.
- Ensure effective time management is undertaken to complete all daily tasks
- Previous customer service experience in a similar type role is essential.
- Experience in the Power Transmission Industry (or similar but not essential).
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Excellent self-organizational and customer service skills
- A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Sound administrative skills and computer literacy
- Capable and prepared to follow given instructions, procedures, and policies
