At Tennis Queensland we are passionate about what we do and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow our game from grassroots through to Grand Slams.  We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our team at the Queensland Tennis Centre on a casual basis.

About the role

This position is responsible for providing friendly, professional and efficient Customer Service to the Queensland Tennis Centre (QTC) members and guests.  The Customer Service Officer will provide administrative support to all services delivered.  Whilst mainly based on the front counter, café and functions area, the role will work across all programs the company provides within the venue in a service type role.

• Undertake all café related tasks as required, including coffee making, food preparation and stock control and service
• Ensure front of house areas, including the pro shop and cafe are presentable at all times
• Provide a friendly, professional, and efficient Customer Service at all times, via phone, email and face-to-face
• Assist customers with the sale of merchandise and apparel in the Pro Shop
• Process tennis court bookings and tennis-related enquiries efficiently
• General administration and data entry tasks, as required

About you

• Previous experience in the café function and hospitality / preferred but not required as training is available
• Previous experience in providing exceptional Customer Service
• Ability to set priorities, to meet deadlines
• Experience in the use of Point of Sale and cash handling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
