ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a typical Customer Service / Operations role associated with a boutique forwarder. The primary focus is servicing clients and handling a portfolio of accounts; the customer piece is critical to the position. With the operations off-shored, the successful candidate will work closely with clients to ensure the smooth delivery of goods. This is a full-time role with a national focus, working in a settled team with fantastic support.
DUTIES
• Ensure all files are complete in CW1
• Ensure customer queries are attended to promptly
• Input all costing and rates into job orders
• Provide regular status updates to a portfolio of clients
• Ensure shipment files are passed onto Customs and Transport complete and on time
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5 year minimum experience in a small forwarder environment
• Previous experience with CW1 or forwarding software an advantage
• Exposure to working in a team environment
• Ability to work autonomously on a trade lane
• Strong computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
