Our client is looking for an experienced Customer Service Operator within the freight industry to join their team within the Western Sydney area!
Duties & Responsibilities:
Your job duties & responsibility include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain Portfolio of clients as assigned
- Maintain Client Work Instructions and request changes with Client Implementation for SOP amendments
- Order follow up using in house systems
- Monthly / Quarterly Rates maintenance for key customers based on Account Manager’s instructions
- Handling quotations, and costings to win business
- Handle customer enquiries and help as required
- Manage order status reports / In transit reports for clients
- PO entry into in house systems for Client visibility
- Document all customer shipping enquiries and keep clients updated on shipment progress, delays etc
Education & Training:
- Relevant tertiary study
- Handling difficult customers training or courses
- 2 years’ experience in international freight forwarding
- General freight forwarding training
- Phone etiquette training
- Experience in Customer Service within similar organisation
