About the Role
The Customer Support Team at Cardinia Shire Council prides themselves on taking personal responsibility and accountability for the service we deliver daily to our customers and residents.
The team is not just a standard Customer Service team. We take pride in the way we support each other, our customers, and the community. No two days are the same and we aren't doing the job right if we aren't having fun.
This role is not just a standard Customer Service role. You are required to be proactive and think outside the box. The ability to multitask will be vital as you deliver solutions in an efficient and friendly manner over the phone, email, online and face to face.
Days of work will be, Monday, Tuesday & Friday – 8:30am – 5:00pm
About you
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence in customer service and have a knack for solving problems by thinking outside the box.
You don't need to be an expert in Council operations. If you can relate and talk to people from all walks of life, have a strong willingness to learn and a can-do attitude then we want you to apply.
You will be given training on systems and services, a team mentor to help you learn the ropes, ongoing coaching and development and the opportunity to start or further your career in local government.
You will need to be flexible with your availability to meet the demands of the business unit.
