The Connections Support Officer is a full-time 12-month fixed term contract opportunity, that provides high quality Customer Support to South East Water’s customers, primarily through the use of telephone, email and some face-to-face communication. The primary role is to assist customers with queries relating to asset information and water and sewer connection requirements to South East Water assets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expertise and direction to customers, to ensure the protection of South East Water assets under the current water and servicing guidelines.
- Contribute to processing of Size Depth and Offsets and Property Sewer Plans
- Provide technical advice to customers and other business areas relating to Sewer & Water servicing requirements, asset protection.
- Management of online functions, including tapping and meter bookings
- Interpret Asset and Property Sewerage Plan information, provide asset locations and report missing sewer points.
To be successful in this position, you will have skills and experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Commitment to Customer Service and have the drive and focus to exceed customer’s expectations.
- A positive approach and high commitment to the team
- An ability to focus on key result areas and achieve timely and appropriate outputs.
- Sound analytical and computer skills.
- Experience in working within stringent time constraints.
- The ability to analyse and develop ways of improving work procedures and processes.

- Level 1 salary starting at $61,406 plus super
