It's data and research with impact you can see.   In this role, you'll:  be working as a Data Administrator within the Data, Advice, Research and Testing Team (DART) in Transport Safety.  This role supports the management and maintenance of data and data systems for operational and strategic reporting and provide advice on the usage of operational data and reporting systems.  Working within the Safety Environment and Regulation division, this role comprehends and interprets high profile critically sensitive datasets derived from information received from other government agencies across to the broader business to inform road safety decisions. This role will see you exposed to opportunities to make a real impact on business outcomes directly concerning road safety using your comprehension skills, analysis and strong language and writing skills. For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description.   About you Your understanding of data management concepts and issues and experience using business intelligence and visualisation tools to generate business information will see you excel in this role. You are someone who sees the ‘bigger picture’ and will enjoy leveraging your data administration skills in database knowledge, SQL etc to support stakeholders with data concepts and issues. You will benefit from being in a team that has deep experience and subject matter knowledge and works in a supportive and collaborative way. Please note that as this role sits within road safety, the datasets are highly sensitive, and the successful candidate would need to be comfortable with it.
