Job description
This role is within a large operational federal government department.
The team you will be joining supports the division by analysing workloads and resourcing and deploying the right people to be in the right place at the right time.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role within the workforce management area who is responsible for developing rosters, schedules, workload forecasts and capacity plans to strategically deploy resources within the Division.
The team have done a great job to already build and create the workforce/workload specific data and models
The Role
You will support the Division by creating Power BI dashboards to provide insights for operational areas, Directors and the SES to make better informed decision on their workforce needs.
“Who do we need, where/when do we need them with what skillset(s)?”
The dashboards you create will also help them better see trends and identify where their risk points are.
The data is clean and curated in spreadsheets for you to pull through and create models using DAX.
You will have proof of concepts to draw up on for your reference.
I have worked with this team for several years and have placed multiple people within it as they have been building out this capability.
The team is supportive, and the work is interesting. Your manager has deep subject matter expertise, likes to be able to provide autonomy whilst being there to answer any questions you may have.
The Ideal Person
This role will suit you if you enjoy creating dashboards from scratch that support executives and business to make informed decision.

You prefer roles where you have the opportunity to understand business requirements and processes and then convert this data into actionable insights
