NSW Fair Trading are looking for an experienced Data Analyst working within a team of data governance, platform, analytics, reporting and intelligence specialists driving a data-driven, intelligence led approach to strategic decision making and business operations.
In this role, you will;
- Apply best practice methodologies and tools, including data modelling, data science, statistical and reporting methodologies to identify trends, risks and opportunities providing expert analytics, reporting advice and insights to Fair Trading to enable informed decision-making
- Contribute to a team of multi-skilled data governance, platform, analytics, reporting and intelligence specialists, identifying synergies, enhancing productivity and fostering innovation
- Build, manage and effectively collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders
Does this sound like you?
- Experience with or motivated to learn modern analytics approaches and packages, data warehousing and development tools, including R and Python
- High level of integrity and experience dealing with sensitive data, including willingness to secure baseline security clearances
- Experience with or motivated to learn corporate reporting and identification of emerging risks and trends based on multiple data points
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
