We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our accessioning team and are open to your desired work life balance. The accessioning team are part of Peter Pal’s production team who work collectively to supply library resources in a full shelf ready state. As an accessioning assistant you will ultimately be responsible for creating customer specific item information for each copy of a book or DVD. To be successful in this position you will need excellent time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Producing and applying spine labels in adherence to customer specifications
- Allocating and entering accession numbers to books and DVD’s
- Applying and encoding RFID tag’s
- Carry out high levels of Data Entry whilst maintaining excellent accuracy
- Quality control checking
Skills and experience required:
- Ability to work under pressure
- High attention to detail with strong Data Entry skills
- Ability to focus on the task required for extended periods
- Excellent fine motor skills
- Able to work in a team and communicate easily with people at all levels of the company
- Self-motivated and willing to learn and grow with the company
- Positive can-do attitude and keen to learn
