We are seeking a Data Quality Business Analyst to provide business analysis skills to support the effective implementation of changes to enterprise data governance and Data Quality capabilities, ensuring business solutions achieve the outcomes defined by business requirements and address root causes. This will be a cross functional roles and will endeavour to work across multiple business teams with close alignment to the internal technology platform and product families.
A few of your responsibilities
- Document, analyse, and transfer Data Quality measurement processes to business units
- Work with stakeholders to identify the problem to be solved, articulate the Data Quality needs and desired outcomes, then translate these into technology outcomes
- Assist in defining the vision and scope of Data Quality & integrity projects in alignment with project timelines and budget
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, surveys etc to understand & detail the Data Quality Process Landscape - current state (As-Is) & future state (To-Be) across the People, Processes and Technology
- Identify issues and risks, ensuring that they are appropriately captured raised and actioned
- Develop Data Quality Business Requirements, Process Models, User Stories, Test Scenarios and monitor via the Traceability Matrix
You will demonstrate a 'proficient' level of capability across all Business Analysis knowledge areas and Data Quality knowledge areas and be able to apply these to all stages of the project delivery lifecycle.
Capabilities include:
- Ability to make information digestible and understandable to many audiences, providing context and concepts to enrich detail
- Ability to tailor personal approach to suit the recipient
- Demonstrate proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
- Good organisation skills, specifically in the area of process management and documentation
- Sound communications skills, both in terms of written (documentation) and verbal (e.g. facilitating workshops)
- Digital literacy skills, e.g. sophisticated skills in the use of MS Office Suite; email; and Excel
- 3-5 years of business analysis experience is desired and experience in working with Data Quality uplift projects is preferred
