The Opportunity
Unlock the full potential of your data strategy as an experienced Data Systems Officer within the Faculty of Arts. Tailored to meet the unique needs of a university environment, this position will seamlessly produce a variety of business reports and analyses, providing essential support for strategic decision-making.
The Data Systems Officer not only identifies and validates business needs but also contributes to problem-solving and proposes solutions to ensure data integrity across university-wide systems. This position will also provide support to projects, expert advice and assist in the development of new processes, methodology and frameworks to meet client needs and enhance the operations of the Faculty.
We are ideally seeking someone with qualifications in either data science, information management or a related discipline. Valuable previous experience or knowledge in data visualization techniques, data extraction, manipulation and transformation is preferred. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate an ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
