We are working with A/NZ clients within the Capital Markets space delivering technology services using a distributed agile methodology. Our teams are working across locations (onsite as well as from our ODC in India) to augment client teams and deliver high quality Financial Markets solutions.
- Ensure efficient communication between onshore and offshore teams, define distributed agile procedures. Leverage best practices in release and service management and eliminate bottlenecks causing velocity and delivery issues
- Build new teams. Work with our recruitment team to close outstanding vacancies within the team in a timely manner. Track candidates proposed, negotiate salaries, interview candidates where appropriate. Ensure new joiners integrate well in the team and are able to add value quickly.
- Support our consultants. You will be responsible to ensure the good operation of a team of 30 - 50+ consultants with a view to expand during 2021. You will be their point of contact to ensure they operate well and have what they need to do their work effectively.
- Mentor staff. You will be mentor of some consultants within the team, keeping in touch regularly to track their performance vs their goals, manage their career plan and address any concerns or issues they might have.
- Work closely with the offshore team members, the PMO team and support function members across the globe to ensure timely and quality completion of artefacts and activities
- Proactively engage with client managers around program delivery, business development, issues and risks as well as around new resource requirements
- In this role you will work closely with senior leadership in both on- and offshore locations
- Support the Senior leadership team with strategies for growth, recruitment and retention of staff
- Over 15+ years of Experience, with at least 10 years of Delivery Management experience
- Banking and Capital Markets or Financial Services experience
- Have any Trading platform delivery/project management experience and understand the dependencies.
- Effective delivery management and stake holder management skills.
- Understand KPI and SLA expectations and manage delivery teams by providing effective delivery governance oversight.
- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect delivery scope, schedule and quality
- Work with teams to understand various delivery impediments across locations.
- Should establish effective distributed agile process and ensure effective communication skills.
- Has a solid understanding of various engagement models like fixed capacity, managed service, T&M and the KPIs and SLAs associated with each
- Good communication and presentation skills and ability to independently handle client and senior stakeholder presentations effectively
- Multitasking capability and results driven
- Can do attitude, self-starter with ability to work independently
- Good financial acumen with track record of delivering projects successfully financially, besides ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction with an engaged team
