Demand Planning & Customer Service Manager, Moorabbin 

  • Lead the Demand Planning and Customer Service teams by owning the integrated tactical planning and DEMAND PLANNING steps within our IBP Process

Reporting to the Senior Manager Supply Chain, this role will manage the Demand Planning and Customer Service within our IBP process. You'll develop accurate demand forecasts, align demand and supply plans, ensure outstanding CUSTOMER SERVICE, and mitigate business risks.

About the role

  • Lead the Demand planning team to develop a rolling 24 month demand forecast for all customers using historical data, statistical models, market trends and business intelligence, to meet our forecast accuracy and CUSTOMER SERVICE targets
  • Leads the weekly ITP process to align our demand, supply and operations teams on demand and supply plans within the tactical horizon to drive the best customer outcome while optimising costs
  • Accountable for the CUSTOMER SERVICE team to deliver outstanding service to our customers through a seamless customer experience that connects our customers with our sales and supply chain teams
  • Leads the monthly SLOB process to reduce the exposure to the business by driving actions to mitigate risks, identifying root causes, and driving accountability through the IBP process

 About You

  • 3+ years of Demand planning experience, preferably within food or at a minimum FMCG. 3+ years of people management experience
  • Motivated, with a growth mindset and problem-solving orientation with the capability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Very strong with planning systems (ideally Blueshift and SAP), data and analytics
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving common objectives
