Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the supply and demand planning processes for the assigned portfolio.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, regions, and functions to deliver commercial plans and inventory objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and bias by understanding key misses
- Manage all forecasting and forecast-related activities for assigned customers.
- Actively engage in the new product launch process, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop & analyze plans to improve stock availability, service level, and end-to-end efficiencies.
- Proactively address operational risks and constraint and implement corrective actions
- Analyze data and systems to enhance the effectiveness of the S&OP Planning function.
- Conduct analytical modeling (eg.product line consolidations, new product introductions, “what-if” scenarios) for various market conditions impacting supply, demand, or inventory.
- Review inventory levels and purchasing needs associated with the demand and supply plan.
- Provide monthly reporting and analysis for related supply chain tasks.
- Highly analytical mindset with proficiency in managing large volumes of data.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Deadline-oriented with excellent coordination abilities.
- Ability to build relationships across different regions and cultures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Recognized tertiary qualification in supply chain and/or finance preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply/demand planning or inventory management in FMCG, hardware, or retail.
- Operational and/or financial modeling experience highly regarded.
- Understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in data analysis tools, with Power BI experience a plus.
- Experience in a global organization across various regions and cultures.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably 365 Dynamics or Microsoft Dynamics AX12.
