Kao has a unique opportunity for a new member to join our Supply Chain team based in our Malvern office (hybrid).
The Role
This opportunity exists for a Demand and Supply Planner to take the next step in their career supporting our businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Demand and Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning of your assigned business sector. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams and develop an aligned forecast for the full 24 month planning horizon. You will participate in the relevant business meetings and represent the Planning team. Key to the role will be you working with overseas production centers to achieve fill rate targets whilst optimizing inventory holdings and managing supply activities for local distribution centers in a cost effective manner. This role will also play a crucial part in the monthly S&OP process.
Your Background
You are an integrated team player and leader who excels at doing your best. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders are a must, as are strong planning, organizational, prioritization and effective time management skills. You are driven, plan carefully and manage stakeholder relationships professionally.
The ideal Candidate will also have:
- At least 2-5 years in supply/demand planning within FMCG/Pharmaceutical industries
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain or similar
- APICS CPIM qualification optional
- SAP experience (or similar ERP system) with the ability to produce reports for stakeholders
- Advance Excel knowledge and strong analytical skills with ability to present data and influence business decisions
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
- Ability to accept/manage change and deal with ambiguity
- Drive to improve, independent, goal-oriented and initiative to get there
