Purpose of the Position
As a Design Engineer at Everhard Industries, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the design and development of our Australian-manufactured moulded polymer plastic and pre-cast concrete products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality, design, production, and development standards are met, aligning with our company's mission of sustainable manufacturing for generations to come.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- CAD Modelling and Prototyping
- Drawing Control and Accuracy
- Visual Representations and Marketing
- Documentation and Instruction Development
- Regulatory Compliance and Standards
- Collaboration and Project Management
- Safety and Quality Assurance
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Recent graduate (0-2 years experience) or currently in 4th year of studies.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, Solid Edge) for creating detailed models and drawings.
- Strong project management skills, ensuring timely delivery from conception to completion.
- Adaptable and flexible, able to manage changing priorities effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail in design, documentation, and project execution.
- Excellent time management and task prioritisation abilities.
- Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments, handling multiple tasks concurrently.
- Positive attitude, proactive approach, dedicated to exceptional customer and stakeholder experiences.
