We are looking for a Design System (UI) Engineer to join us and assist a number of teams working across a wide range of projects delivering some cutting-edge products in the online gaming and live-streaming industries.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust and scalable design system that supports our web (and soon our mobile) application. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers to create a consistent and intuitive user experience across our platforms. This role will also need to refactor the Design Systems we currently have in place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design system development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive Design System that aligns with Easygo’s brand identity and user experience guidelines.
- Collaboration and leadership: Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to gather requirements, understand design needs, and translate them into reusable components and design guidelines. Help drive the Design Systems initiatives and provide guidance to the team to ensure consistent implementation.
- Front-end development: Leverage your expertise in front-end technologies, including Svelte, React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Storybook, to implement and enhance the design system components. Assist in the production of clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
- Documentation and education: Create comprehensive documentation and guidelines for the Design System, including usage instructions, code examples, and best practices. Educate and train team members on the proper implementation and usage of the Design System.
- Quality assurance: Ensure the Design System components are thoroughly tested and meet high-quality standards. Collaborate with the QA team to conduct testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Continuous improvement: Monitor industry trends, technologies, and tools to evolve the design system over time. Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to iteratively improve components and documentation
- Testing and Integration: Implement robust testing frameworks to ensure components are functional, accessible, and performant across browsers and devices. Oversee the integration of the design system into various projects, ensuring compatibility and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Design or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering
- 1+ years of experience contributing to Design Systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
