ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Triple Eight Race Engineering, a motorsport team based in Banyo, Qld, is looking for an energetic, highly motivated and creative individual to join the commercial department as the Team Digital Assistant. Working closely with your colleagues, members of the media, team partners and any other stakeholders, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the teams digital channel strategy, alongside the teams membership program. The role also involves providing support to the rest of the commercial team in various PR and Partnership related activities. The role includes but is not limited to: - Digital, PR and Media: o Manage the day-to-day running of Triple Eight’s suite of digital channels including facebook, Instagram, twitter, tik tok, LinkedIn and the Teams website, including written material o Working with third parties including team partners and digital agencies, develop and execute the teams content strategy across all digital channels. o Bring relevant, creative ideas to the table to ensure we are always seen as the leader in this field out of all Supercars teams and a standout in Australian sport o Guided by the Partnership team, ensure Partner digital & content deliverables are fulfilled on our channels, with the aim to go over and above where possible o Support the Partnership and Communications Manager to deliver successful PR and Media events, press releases and general PR and media coverage o Oversee the execution of various on and off-site photoshoots during the course of the season, working closely with third party providers o Assist the Partnership team with relevant Partner brand related content ideation and exacution o Monthly digital media reporting to both internal and external stakeholders o Execute various pre and post-event communications, including on-track schedules, public driver appearances, driver quotes, event quiz, pre-event EDM’s, member communications, post event reports and wrap-ups o Ensure all event content is downloaded into the archives, including images, videos and results records o Create and manage stock levels of the Teams promotional posters o Design related tasks using the Adobe Creative Suite, to support other members of the Commercial and race team o Assist in the approval of campaigns and artwork, promoting the teams merchandise range - T8M8 Membership Program: o Working with your colleagues and third party suppliers, to create and fulfil annual team membership packs o Database management and communications to members via the teams generic e-mail account o Promotion of the Team’s T8M8 membership program across digital channels o Member event planning and execution, working with your colleagues QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS The successful applicant must have the majority or all of the following: - Degree qualifications, or work experience in marketing and / or digital communications - Be proficient in all primary Microsoft programs - Video editing skills such as in Adobe Premiere are preferable but not essential - Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferable but not essential - Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all mainstream digital platforms - Possess strong writing skills in a range of styles, being able to show examples - Be a good communicator, with excellent time-keeping and organisational skills - Possess a keen eye for detail - Be willing to learn and fulfil a variety of tasks as part of working in a relatively small team - Be comfortable working outside of normal office hours and good at working in a team - Experience working in sport is preferable, as in a general interest in sport - Bring creative flare, innovation, fresh ideas and plenty of energy - Be able to work to strict deadlines and have a high level of discretion & confidentiality A full-time role available from the start of April, the successful applicant will be office based, however the role will provide the opportunity to travel to approximately six major events during the season, as well as accompany the Team and drivers to PR related activities or photoshoots outside of race weekends.
