Our small and tight-knit Fundraising and Communications team together are responsible for raising the profile of Lort Smith Animal Hospital, including the Campbellfield Adoption Centre & Clinic and our Pet Therapy and community outreach programs.

About You
Responsive and adaptable, you have a strong grip on the technical side of Digital Marketing, enjoy the challenge of integrating platforms and tools, building automation, delving into analytics, and optimising systems. You’ll have a keen design eye and a creative nature, able to craft compelling copy, engaging graphics and videos.
You are deadline driven, flexible and open-minded, and love working as part of a team with shared goals. You approach tasks with optimism and enthusiasm and thrive working in an ever-changing environment.
About the role
In this role you’ll be responsible for creating content, presenting accurate reports and nurturing community fundraising supporters by sharing the stories of our talented and dedicated clinical teams, and working alongside animal welfare officers, pet therapists and animal shelter staff to share their important work in the community, and inspire enthusiastic support for Lort Smith. Your contribution will play a key part in telling Lort Smith’s story to a wide range of audiences.
You will have:
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in communications or marketing.
- Tertiary qualified in journalism, marketing, communications, media/PR or related discipline.
- Proven experience in Digital Marketing, content creation, and online community management.
- Strong writing, copywriting, and editing skills with an ability to produce clear, compelling content.
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM techniques.
- Proven proficiency in digital analytics and reporting tools.
- Proven experience with email marketing and content management systems.
- Good working knowledge of Canva, Content Management Systems such as WordPress, and eDM management systems such as Mail Chimp or Campaign Monitor.
- Extensive experience working with social media platforms such as Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Good working knowledge of Google Analytics.
