Digital Records Officer x 2
2 full time, 24-month fixed term roles are available.
Work Location: 2 Treasury Place, East Melbourne
The Digital Records Officer roles sit within the Digital Records team in the Knowledge, Privacy and Records Branch at the Department of Education.
As one of the department's records management subject matter experts, the purpose of this role is to:
Carry out sentencing and disposal of digital departmental records
Support the implementation of machine learning in the sentencing of digital departmental records
Provide advice and support to departmental staff on records management issues
Contribute to the continuous improvement of department records management processes
Provide a range of administrative and project support services to the Digital Records team
Proactively contribute to the department's records management program in accordance with the Public Records Act 1973 and related Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) Standards
