Director, Compliance And Enforcement

Position details
The position is responsible for:
* advising the commission on setting the strategic direction of the Compliance and Enforcement functions, including establishing annual Compliance and Enforcement priorities.
* leading the Compliance and Enforcement group overall functioning, including:
* managing the effective recording of breach reports and complaints
* providing compliance guidance to industry
* developing strategic compliance projects
* overseeing investigations, including the exercise of compulsory investigative powers
* managing enforcement outcomes, including penalty notices, enforceable undertakings, civil litigation and criminal prosecutions.
* managing a group of approximately 22 staff, including 5 or 6 direct reports, to ensuring the effective management of the Compliance and Enforcement group's resources.
* overseeing the ongoing professional development of the Compliance and Enforcement group.
