The Role:
As CCR continues on its path of strategic growth, the newly created role of Director of NSW role will be instrumental in the future success and implementation of CCR’s market expansion plans. This role will form part of the Senior leadership team, reporting through to the Executive Team. You are a strategic leader and have extensive experience in providing expert advice, where you will be able to influence change while sustaining a high performance culture. Developing and leading your teams will be key, working collaboratively with multi-functional departments to ensure a well executed delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated extensive experience at an executive level in the management of a large and diverse organisation, with the ability to influence change through to the executive leadership team.
- An effective communicator, building collaboration between business units within the organisation, while balancing tactical execution with the company’s strategic vision.
- Highly experienced in business transformation, identifying the need for and spear heading change throughout the organisation.
- Capacity building, providing mentoring and development support to direct team within current projects across all CCR functions, in line with the current succession plan model.
- Effectively managing risks and issues associated with the delivery of complex projects through the preparation of detailed mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and regular monitoring of activities.
- Developing and overseeing state-based strategies coupled with the implementation of policies and plans.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and management of budgets and schedules, while aligning to the overall financial life cycle of the project.
- Collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the overall implementation of the plans, ensuring project milestones are met with a focus on costs, IMS procedures and deliverable outcomes while optimising project efficiencies.
- Ability to critically analyse information and translate into ideas and actionable outcomes.
- 15+ years’ experience working with either a contractor or consultancy as a Project Director or Commercial Manager/Director or similar.
- Tertiary qualifications in QS/Engineering.
- Master in Construction Law is preferable.
- Solid demonstrated experience in claims management.
- Experience in Expert work, Adjudications, Arbitration and Litigation.
- Experience on major infrastructure, civil, resources and/or rail projects.
- Ability to present complex concepts to senior colleagues.
- Highly detailed and articulate communication skills.
