The Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD) is seeking an experienced website and communications professional, to lead a full-service Web Team. A key deliverable of the role is the oversight of the delivery of an exciting digital project within our Directorate.
The natural environment is highlighted within the Parliamentary and Governing Agreement for the 10th Legislative Assembly as a key priority for Government. Providing the Canberra Community with information that is easy to access and understand through a new website will be a key component of this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong project management and leadership skills, be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within the broader Communications, Media and Engagement Branch, and have exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with Squiz Matrix, Drupal, WordPress and Hive systems are required.
- Relevant tertiary education qualifications and a minimum of eight years’ experience working professionally in the fields of Digital Communications, Web Development, Communications, or a related field is highly desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months, with the possibility for extension up to 12 months.
