As a Disability Justice Officer, you are responsible for working as part of a team to maintain the safety and security of the Bennett Brook Disability Justice Centre and facilitate the development of training and support for people with an intellectual disability or cognitive impairment who are interfacing with the justice system.

This position supports the Centre to achieve positive outcomes through measures including person centred practice, positive behaviour support and the promotion of a good life. Staff support Centre residents to build skills in all areas of independent living, engage in prosocial activities and promote community participation to reduce offending behaviour and assist their transition back into the community.
