AddressDrake Medox are currently recruiting for energetic, vibrant Support Workers with a genuine passion for disability care to work with our new client in Wollongong.
This role entails supporting our male client with a spinal injury live independently as possible in their own home and assisting with reaching their daily goals. You will be required to assist this client with , personal care, bowel care, community access and companionship.
Applicants must be flexible with availability and able to work :
Morning Shifts: 0600-1400
Afternoon Shifts: 1400-2200
Duties:
- Support hours across 24 hours, 7 days per week
- Manual Handling
- Personal Care
- Medication Administration
- Community Engagement and Social Support
- Bowel Care
About you:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent required
- Must be available for shifts Monday through to Sunday
- South Australian Driver's License and reliable car
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current First Aid Certification
- Current CPR Certification
- Manual Handling Certification
- Assist with Medication Certification
