ABOUT YOUR ROLE
This is a casual Disability Support Worker role located in Lawnton where you will be assisting customers with a variety of disabilities who may have complex behaviours, prioritising tasks efficiently, and cultivating a supportive atmosphere that encourages independence and development. You will be providing care to our customers in home and out in the coumminty. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we want you on our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Assisting with daily tasks (personal care, meal prep)
• Administritering medication
• Providing companionship
• Transporting customers
• Manual handling

REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain;

• Previous experience in disability or similar in a home setting (required)
• Flexible availability for a 24/7 roster (day, evening and sleepover shifts)
• Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
• Right to work in Australia
• COVID-19 vaccinations (x2 doses)
• CPR and First Aid certificate
• NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
• Working with Children Check (blue card)
• NDIS orientation module certificate
