The Role
An opportunity has become available for aDivisional Finance Manager (Surgical and Critical Care) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Work with the Division Management Team to produce high quality cohesive financial and business planning
- Forge strong networks and partnerships across a range of complex stakeholders to drive outcomes and performance
- Understanding the requirements for policy, systems, processes and culture to operate in an Activity Based Funding environment
- Exhibit strong analytical and financial management skills with the ability to collate and Critically analyse data
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A Bachelor of Business, Commerce or Accounting and a relevant professional qualification would be well regarded
- Experience in a health care setting in a business / operational environment would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $146 510 - $155 025 per annum
About Us
The Financial Services Division supports Gold Coast Health by providing expert and timely financial services. The Division is made up of Divisional Finance Teams, Financial Reporting and Compliance, Financial Performance, Strategic Procurement and Commissioning, Analysis and Reporting unit. This role is based within the Divisional Finance Team for Surgical and Critical Care Services.
