About the position
The City is seeking a positive and enthusiastic individual, with experience in duty management within a leisure facility. The successful appointee will be responsible for:
- Supervising Kingsway Stadium operations (sporting competitions / junior programs / group fitness & facility hire) on our increasingly popular weeknights & weekends!
- Assisting in the management of user group bookings, stadium events and general community enquiries
- Assist with the development and delivery of the stadium's sport programs and leisure services.
- Supports the delivery of excellent customer outcomes at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
- Exercising duty of care in line with City occupational safety & health policies
About You
As a collaborative member of the Kingsway team, the position is accountable for leading the daily/nightly operations of the stadium in the absence of the team leader. They must also thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation. As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:
- Proven communication & customer service skills
- Proven problem solving & conflict resolution skill
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Experience in the sports & leisure industry or working towards a sport management qualification
An ideal position for someone looking to get involved in the sport & leisure industry. We are looking for someone who is available to work our popular evening shifts between 5pm & 10pm, 3 nights a week. There is also the opportunity to pick up additional hours on other nights and weekends.
