I Love Linen - Marketing Lead eCommerce
Hello you. We look forward to meeting our newest star collaborator to our team as our Marketing Lead. This role is hybrid, working with your supportive team at our office and working remotely to support your flexibility.
Welcome to the world of I Love Linen, where design, interiors and homewares are our passion and we are committed to helping our customers sleep and live better. As part of our growth strategy we are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Lead to join our team.
You will play a key role in collaborating on and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and retention, and revenue growth. Reporting to the Founder while working in synch with your amazing Social and Design colleagues, you will leap into the role and be responsible for planning, implementing, and analysing our marketing campaigns across our channels. Using our well developed Marketing Calendar (who doesn't like to be really well planned!) you will ensure seamless execution to support new product launches & promotional activity across digital channels - performance marketing, website, email, SMS, and our Loyalty platform.
You will use your proven skills and demonstrated experience in executing campaigns and a genuine love and interest in understanding how and why people view and share content online and what drives people to purchase.
So, who are we?
Established in 2012, we began with our search for beautiful bedding for a perfect night’s sleep, every night. As we’ve expanded, we’re proud to have become one of Australia’s best online destinations for all things home. We hope our customers find our personal service and direct access to the people who design our products a refreshing change.
We design with you, the customer in mind. As we talk, listen and assist customers with purchases, we focus on creating designs that will be loved for years to come. As designers, we take inspiration from our travels as well as our Australian roots, always taking care to create designs that blend beautifully into your life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate on the Marketing Calendar with the team to make meaningful suggestions on how to bring campaigns to life across our channels and ensure it gets customers clicking and purchasing. This means launching our new designs with clever tactics and ensuring our promotions (Cyber, VOSN, AfterPay Day etc) stand out
- Coordinate all relevant briefing to ensure the work gets done. Writing briefs for email, performance marketing, web banners and the like. This includes copywriting lovely content for email subject lines and body copy, ad copy that gets your interest, SMS that don't annoy you, and website assets that create engagement.
- Work in lock step with our fantastic performance marketing agency to conceptualise and brief campaigns that sing across Instagram, Facebook, Google and TikTok
- We have an established Loyalty Program and you will report on redemption and usage and look at ways to be more customer centric to drive genuine retention
- Work with Customer Service Manager for weekly check in to assess any issues and proactively brief in on upcoming marketing initiatives
- Track, set and measure KPIs for all marketing activities and provide detailed reporting on performance. Use the data to 10x what worked and move on from what did not
Let's talk about you!
You could be the next addition to our supportive and creative team!
With 5+ years professional experience including clear experience in an eCommerce environment, you are ready to be an integral part of the Marketing and Creative team. You will be exposed to similar roles in eCommerce and understand the fast paced nature and the requirement to be well planned and work months ahead when possible but also know that in eCommerce sometimes last minute changes happen and that's ok.
With strong time and project management skills, you can work under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment. You’ll have a working knowledge of email platforms and know how to build and schedule (ideally Klayvio), eCommerce platforms (ideally Shopify) and understand how a campaign is rolled out across a website, experience in writing briefs for paid social ads, and ideally exposure to Loyalty and SMS.
You are hyper organised with high levels of communication – you can clearly express ideas, information and updates to key internal and external stakeholders, collaborating and negotiating effectively to manage expectations, ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed along the creative process.
You are a detailed oriented, motivated, results driven, personable and reliable team member who enjoys working toward and contributing to a broader goal and purpose.
APPLICATIONS CLOSE: February 21st.
