Our client is seeking to engage an EL1 Executive Coordinator (Divisional Support Officer) on a contract. Location: Canberra, ACT Contract Length: 12 months Rate: $602.55/ Daily (excluding super) Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be Australian Citizens About the Team The Divisional Support Officer role is a Cross-Agency position that may work within any division in the Agency. About the Role The EL1 Divisional Support Officer (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the functions of the Agency. The position is responsible for providing efficient and effective high-level management support services and strategic advice to the General Manager (GM). This includes coordination and analysis of correspondence, budget management and reporting, developing written reports and briefing materials. The EL1 Divisional Support Officer (Labour Hire) is a team membership position within the Agency and has a concurrent requirement to resolve issues and risks across a broad range of activities of substantial depth involving significant detail and to provide support to the team leadership of their work area in the planning and coordination of the team. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:Coordinating operational and administrative duties and tasks.Initiating, tracking and resolving human resource issues and informing the General Manager of progress.Directing enquiries and requests to relevant business areas and providing advice to the General Manager on documents and engagement opportunities requiring a response.Facilitating the provisioning of messages and advice from the General Manager to staff within the division and wider Agency and assisting with the timely flow of documents for clearance.Coordinating the end-to-end life cycle of parliamentary document records across the division using prescribed processes and procedures.Performing budget management functions including monthly performance reporting, budget tracking and identifying and taking corrective action as necessary.Key skills required for role:Executive support experienceDesirable skills to have for the role:Government experience If you feel you are a suitable candidate submit your application by hitting “Apply for this job”.
