Form of workWe are a family-owned business that has been operating for over 30 years. We specialise in sales, preventative maintenance, service and installation of disinfection equipment in hospitals and aged care.
Malones are seeking a service technician to join our close-knit Brisbane team. This position includes a company vehicle, mobile phone, android tablet, and uniform.
Most of the facilities you will be visiting are in the Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast areas with some country travel required to provide our customers with ongoing service. Overtime will be on offer when required.
You will be provided with on-the-job training covering all products and services and be fully supported by our friendly, highly experienced, long-standing team.
We are seeking a reliable, honest, self-motivated technician with strong communication and presentation skills, who can work unsupervised and maintain a high level of skill and productivity.
This position would be desirable for an experienced applicant who is seeking a long stable career, start and finish close to home, working alone with minimal stress and pressure.
A full-time applicant is preferred but we are flexible and open to part-time agreements.
A restricted electrical license or higher electrical qualification is required but we can put a suitable applicate through the necessary courses to become qualified for this role.
REQUIREMENTS
- A restricted electrical license or higher electrical qualification.
- Some technical / electrical maintenance fitter experience.
- Problem solving / fault finding skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Current drivers’ license.
- Clear police and working with Children's check.
