Reporting to the HR Director, the Employee Relations Manager will be providing industrial relations advice, guidance and support to the wider HR team, as well as leading key IR/ER strategic initiatives.The ER Manager will collaborate with HR, offering counsel on performance issues, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, grievance handling, union engagement, performance management procedures, and employment termination.key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison with unions, Fair Work Australia, and legal counsel.
- Work closely with HR leadership to develop and communicate policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure alignment with labor legislation and address legal issues.
- Lead negotiations with unions to establish and renew agreements, fostering positive relationships.
- Design and deliver training programs on performance coaching, conflict resolution, and fostering an inclusive work culture.
