About the team

Seene provides simple and easy energy to customers on behalf of the owners corporation, property owner or embedded network owners. It is part of the EnergyAustralia group of companies. We provide energy services to over 100 apartment buildings, gated communities and retirement villages across Victoria, NSW, ACT and Queensland.  

Purpose of role

Reporting into the Delivery & Client Management Leader, we are looking to recruit an experienced and skilled individual to support the ongoing growth of the business. Working with property developers, consultants, builders and Owners corporation managers, you will play a critical role in developing new solution capabilities/options, and project managing the implementation of solutions at new and existing sites.

You will have a strong understanding of community and centralised Energy Solutions, with strong knowledge of current solution providers and relationships with industry stakeholders. You will use your technical, project management, superior communication and organisational skills to deliver project outcomes across new and existing sites, being proficient in managing timelines, budgets and project challenges.

In delivering projects across greenfield, brownfield conversion and take-over sites, key activities will include:

  • Understand industry and market changes, develop new solution capabilities through engagement with existing and new solution providers to address these new needs
  • Lead project management of new site implementation activities, ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with industry safety and regulatory requirements
  • Act as technical SME regarding solution design, delivery and operational aspects (ie: meter data and communications) for centralised Energy Solutions. Expertise areas must include Centralised Electrical, Hot Water, VRV Heating and Cooling, Solar PV, Battery and Electrical Vehicle solutions
  • Establish, develop and maintain engagement with solution partners, contractors and stakeholders (Including attending site visits)

How can you support the energy transition

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates with a strong technical and project management background in the community and centralised energy services market. You will also be required to provide input and knowledge to assist in the ongoing improvement of our market offerings, challenging the status quo, providing assistance and ideas across the business including, sales process, project management, customer service management, process improvement and business performance. 

In additional to your skills and experiences you'll also be you'll an outstanding communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills which enable you to engage, influence and inspire others to achieve desired results.

We are seeking the following qualifications, skills and experiences: 

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in engineering, project management, electrician certification, hydraulics trade or similar.
  • Strong background in centralised energy services, embedded networks, and microgrid solutions with a proven track record of project delivery and developing new solutions
  • Strong understanding of the energy market and emerging Energy Solutions (highly desirable)
  • Experience interfacing with business clients (highly desirable)
  • Commercial acumen through assessing solution feasibility and managing project costs.
  • Experience managing end to end solutions and stakeholders (networks/distributors, business and consumer segments)
