**Successful Trainees may attract an apprenticeship offer in Boilermaking upon completion.
During the Engineering traineeship, you will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate II in Engineering.
Trainees will primarily be engaged in production work, duties include (but not limited to):
- Oxy-acetylene and soldering equipment
- Using fabrication equipment
- Pulling apart and reassemble engineering mechanisms
- Interacting with computing technology
- Monitoring, servicing, repairing and assembly of mechanical, fabrication, electrical and metal product machines.
- Computer numeric machine (cnc) processes
- Foundry processes and automatic moulding equipment and furnace operations
- Stationary and mobile plant and packaging machines
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail
- Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously
- Eagerness to learn
