Job description
On behalf of our client, leading energy company, we are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor.
Working predominantly within the Scarborough team, this role may also provide support to other relevant Projects HSEQ activities, ensuring environment requirements are appropriately considered as the environmental management system is developed.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects such as Scarborough, Pluto Train 2, and Browse, contributing to the achievement of leading environmental outcomes.
About this role
Undertaking environmental assurance of Scarborough project activities.
Interfacing with key contractors executing the construction, commissioning and start-up of various project packages.
Supporting vessel assurance activities to set environmental expectations and facilitate compliance.
Tracking and advising on environmental compliance requirements and undertaking associated environmental reporting activities.
Supporting the development of Scarborough environmental approvals, including those facilitated by the EP Delivery team.
Supporting environmental impact and risk assessments for various Scarborough activities, including management of change.
Supporting the design and execution of environmental monitoring program/surveys.
Reviewing and improving environmental management processes in support of the broader Projects HSEQ vision to enable leading environmental outcomes, beyond minimum compliance’.
About you

A variety of skills and experience will be considered for these roles, although knowledge of the Australianenvironmental regulatory requirements, experience with environmental impact and risk assessments and project execution in Australia is strongly preferred.
Broader environmental support from the Projects HSEQ team will help to set this role up for success.
