About the opportunity
We are looking for the Equipment Compliance Officer who will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all equipment-related regulations, standards, and procedures within the organization. Working in our Welshpool workshop, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement Equipment Compliance programs, conduct audits, and provide guidance on best practices to mitigate risks and maintain operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment, facilities, and processes to identify compliance issues, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance concerns, develop corrective action plans, and monitor progress towards resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of Equipment Compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions taken to ensure documentation and reporting requirements are met.
- Stay informed about changes in equipment regulations, standards, and industry best practices, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop preventive measures.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to prioritise their workload.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Proven experience (3+ years’) in similar role with experience working within the mining or construction sector.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
