Prima Homes is one of Perth’s longest standing builders of individual luxury homes. We are looking for an experienced Estimator/Scheduler to join our small team on a full-time or part-time basis (hours to be discussed) for an immediate start.
About you:
- Minimum 10 years experience Estimating/Scheduling in the residential building industry is essential
- Local knowledge imperative
- Ability to read, understand and assess all construction documents including architectural plans, structural engineering designs, addendas and specifications and interpret data
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Experience liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Effective use of computer applications relevant to the role
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Personal accountability
- Enjoy working in a small collaborative team
- Valid West Australian driver’s license
As a valued member of the team your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Accurate quantity take offs
- Negotiate pricing and obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
- Purchase orders
- Variations
